Release of Admit Card for JEE Advanced 2019

JEE Advanced admit card 2019: 


On the official website of JEE Advanced, the release of Admit card news is displayed as  Candidate Portal is live now. The candidate may visit the Candidate Portal ( https://cportal.jeeadv.ac.in ) for downloading the admit card
This year, 2.45 lakh out of 11.47 lakh students who appeared for JEE Mains were considered eligible for the JEE Advanced 2019. But only 1.65 lakh had registered for the IIT entrance exam and the admit card of only those candidates have been released. 

JEE Advanced is the second stage of examination as only a selected few who meet the cut-off based on JEE Mains score (conducted by the National Testing Agency) are eligible to appear for the same.

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee will release the admit card or hall ticket for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Advanced today, May 20 at the official website, jeeadv.ac.in. According to the official notification, the admit card was to be available to download from 10 am onwards.
The JEE Advanced will be conducted on May 27 (Monday), 2019 by the IIT Roorkee. Each year, one IIT takes charge and conducts the exam. The competitive exam is conducted for entrance to undergraduate courses to IITs.

National Testing Agency reschedules JEE Main 2019 dates due to Lok Sabha Polls

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has postponed the JEE Main 2019 exam, due to Lok Sabha elections. It will be now held on April 7 (Paper 2 - B. Arch/ B. Planning). However, Paper 1 (B.E/ B.Tech) will be held from April 8, 9, 10 and 12.
Earlier the exam was scheduled to be held from April 7 to April 20 onwards.
Besides, NTA will release the JEE Main 2019 admit card on March 20 for candidates to download the same online. The students who are appearing for JEE Mains can get their admit cards from March 20. The admit cards will be available on the official website- jeemain
.nic.in.
The examination will consist of two papers Paper I for BE/B.Tech and Paper II for B. Arch/B planning. The exam will be conducted in an online, computer-based mode only. However, the drawing test for paper 2 will be conducted offline. Paper 1 will consist of Objective type questions and paper 2 will have mathematics and aptitude section as an objective type and drawing test will be Subjective. The duration will be of 3 hours.  Paper 1 will be conducted in two shifts; the morning shift will begin from 9:30 am and will end at 12:30 pm, while the afternoon shift will be conducted from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Paper 2 will be held in one shift.

 

JEE Main 2019: Eligibility
The candidate should have secured at least 75 percent marks, or be in the top 20 percentile in Class 12 examination conducted by the respective Boards. For SC/ST candidates the qualifying marks would be 65 percent in Class 12 examination.

It is also expected that the JEE Advanced exam scheduled to be conducted on May 19th will also be rescheduled as the date is clashing with Assembly elections. Candidates are advised to keep an eye on the JEE Advanced official website for any updates.

Correction Window Opened by NTA for JEE Main 2019 Application Form

JEE Main exam is a national level examination which is conducted by the National Testing Agency (NTA). Students who wish to take admission in undergraduate engineering courses in IITs, NITs, and IIITs has to pass this examination. The exam is being conducted in two modes online which is computer based and offline which is a paper-based test. 
JEE Main 2019 correction facility (for April session) is now available. The correction window to edit/change/update other details in JEE Main 2019 application form will be available from March 11 on the official website till March 15, 11:50 pm.
Except for exam cities, aspirants will be able to change the host of other details like name, category, photo/image, language etc. during the process.  Only those candidates who have successfully paid JEE Main 2019 application fee and filled in their application form completely will be able to avail the JEE Main 2019 application correction facility.  It is to be noted that aspirants might have to pay additional fees for application correction. 

Steps to follow while making corrections in JEE Main application form 2019
1.    Visit the official website of NTA/JEE Main 2019
2.     ‘Login for correction in Application Form’ 
3.    Enter your Application number, Password, Security Pin (displayed on the screen)
4.    Hit the ‘Login’ button
5.    Click on ‘Manage Form Particulars Correction’ to edit and make changes
6.    Read the instructions carefully
7.    Edit the information and make the changes
8.    Pay an additional fee if required

Note:  
•    Change of exam city is not allowed.
•    NTA has right to reject application forms if found incomplete or incorrect. Thus, the wise use of this facility is expected. 


What thing you can edit using JEE Main 2019 Correction window

•    Name:  As per their Class 10th mark-sheet Candidates can edit/change their name in the uploaded JEE Main application form.
•    Photo/Image: You can make changes in the uploaded photograph and signatures. A photograph without name and date will be accepted, as per the recent announcement from NTA
•    Category: An additional fee might be charged in case of any changes made in a category from SC/ST/Girls/PwD to General/OBC NCL. 
•    The medium of Examination: Aspirants can change the medium of examination from English to Hindi/Gujarati.
•    Aadhaar number: Like last year, candidates will be able to update their Aadhaar card numbers.
•    Date of Birth: The date of birth can be edited/changed as per the candidate’s Class 10th mark-sheet.
•    Communication address: Aspirants will be able to edit/change/update their address of communication.
•    Contact number: The contact number filled by candidates in JEE Main 2019 application form can be edited/changed/updated.
•    Paper Mode: Candidates will be allowed to change the choice of paper from Paper I to Paper II (and vice versa) in JEE Main 2019 exam, or opt for both papers. At the time of making the corrections any extra amount that may arise as a result of a change of option has to be paid.  To know the amount please visit the official website.

Restrictions in the modification in JEE Main 2019 Correction window
•    JEE Main correction in exam city:  Exam center/city cannot be changed according to the official website.
JEE Main correction in examination mode: If available, candidates will be allowed to switch from Pen and paper-based mode to computer-based mode. But students will NOT be able to change the mode from computer-based to pen and paper-based mode.
Additional fees for JEE Main correction in application fees


NTA may charge additional fees for students:
1.    Who change their category from SC/ST/Girls/PwD to General/OBC NCL
2.    Who opt for Paper 2 in addition to Paper 1

Candidates will have to pay the balance fee after deducting the application fees paid earlier from the fees to be paid now. The application fee for reserved category is lesser as compared to the fees paid by General category students. Thus, reserved category students will be required to pay the balance fee. The same holds true when candidates opt to appear for Paper 1 and 2 both. 
Fee refund for JEE Main correction in application fees. Candidates can also select Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) Category and register for the same from today (Monday, March 11, 2019)
Aspirants who opted for both JEE Main 2019 Paper 1 and Paper 2 earlier but now wants to appear only in any of the papers will not receive any refund of fees. 
NTA will release the final exam dates and shifts for JEE Main 2019 exam to be held in April. JEE main 2019 April exam will be held from April 7 to 20. NTA is conducting JEE Main exam twice a year - in January and April, from 2019. Paper 1 of JEE Main 2019 will be held in two shifts. The first shift will be conducted from 9:30 am to 12:30 pm while the second shift will be from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm. JEE Main 2019 Paper 2 will be in two shifts. Admit Cards will be released on March 20, 2019.

Joint Entrance Examination, JEE Main 2019 April exam online registration started on, February 8, 2019. The last day to fill the form is 7 March 2019. An online application form has to be filled by the candidates who have appeared and wish to appear again.JEE Main April 2019 will be conducted from April 7 to 20 in computer-based mode, except for Drawing test in Paper II which will be pen-and-paper based. Both Papers I & II will be held in two shifts.

As per the Supreme Court orders, NTA is expected to revise the eligibility criteria for appearing students. Asper the official JEE Main 2019 notification,  candidates are not eligible for the examination who have appeared for their Qualifying Examination (QE)before 2016 or before or would be appearing in the QE in 2020 or after With the SC order. Still, some changes are speculated by SC about the age barrier criteria. Students are again reminded that the better NTA Score (between JEE Main 2019 January and JEE Main 2019 April) would be considered for the final
JEE Main 2019 Rank. Final JEE Main 2019 Rank would be considered while shortlisting for JEE advanced 2019 examination.

As per the latest update, candidates of all ages who were earlier not permitted to appear for the examination may now do so. There is still no clarity on the removal of the age barrier to appear for IIT JEE. The admit card will be generated in the official website from March 20, 2019, only for the registered candidates. JEE Main January 2019 result declared on 19th January 2019 available on official website i.e www.jeemain.nic.inStudents can check their results on the website. Students who qualify JEE main 2019 and score 70% would qualify for JEE Advanced 2019

The first JEE (Main) Examination was conducted by NTA between 8th and12th January, 2019 in two shift. The next online application for JEE (Main) April-2019 Examination shall start from 8th February and shall remain open till 7th March 2019. The uploading of images and payment of the application fee will be up to 8th March-2019. The JEE (Main) April 2019 Examination will be conducted in CBT mode between 6th and 20th April, 2019.

The JEE (Main) April -2019

The first attempt of JEE (Main) – 2019 will be held in January 2019 whereas the second attempt will be held in April 2019. The test will be held on different shifts/dates in both the attempts. The NTA will release the application form of JEE (Main)-2019 for the first attempt in September 2018 and for the second attempt in February 2019. Choice of Medium of Question Papers

The medium of Question Paper shall be in English, Hindi, and Gujarati. The option of question paper language should be exercised while filling up the Application Form and it cannot be changed at a later stage.  

Provisions for Persons with Disabilities

(a) The candidates with a disability should fill in the type and percentages of disability correctly in the online application form for JEE (Main)-2019.

(b) Only the visually challenged candidates, who have 40% or more disability, will be provided Scribe/Reader on the request of the candidate. In no case, the candidates will be allowed to bring their own scribe.

(c) Such candidate will have to submit the request in writing to the Centre Superintendent for the same at least one week before the examination date.

(d) The Centre Superintendent will identify the scribe/ reader students who are appearing in class X. In case a request is received from the candidate, he/she would be allowed to meet the scribe a day before the examination to verify the suitability of the scribe.

Cities/Towns of JEE (Main)- 2019 Examination Centre

The Centres (Cities) where the JEE (Main)-2019 will be conducted are given at Appendix-2. While applying candidates have to select any four cities of their choice of Paper-1 or Paper-2 or both Paper-1 & Paper-2 for examination of JEE (Main)-2019. The efforts will be made to allow the city of examination to the candidates in order of the choice opted by them in their application form. However, due to administrative reasons, a different city or nearby area may be allotted.

Allocation of Examination City/Town The decision of the NTA regarding allotment of Centre, date & shift shall be final. No further correspondence or request shall be entertained in such case.

Use of Calculator and Communication Aids

Use of electronic devices like mobile phone, calculator etc. is NOT PERMITTED in JEE (Main) - 2019. Candidates are NOT allowed to carry Instrument/Geometry/Pencil box, Handbag, Purse, Any kind of Paper/ Stationery/Textual material (printed or written material), Eatables and Water (loose or packed), Mobile Phone/Ear Phone/Microphone/Pager, Calculator, Docu Pen, Slide Rules, Log Tables, Camera, Tape Recorder, Electronic Watches with facilities of calculator, any metallic item or electronic gadgets etc. in the examination Room/ Hall. 5 INFORMATION BULLETIN (1st Attempt): JEE (MAIN) 2019 Diabetic students will be allowed to carry eatables like sugar tablets/fruits (like banana/apple/ orange) and transparent water bottle to the examination hall. However, they will not be allowed to carry packed foods like chocolate/candy/sandwich etc. Candidates must bring their own pencils, own geometry box set, erasers, color pencils and crayons for the Aptitude Test of Paper-2.

Eligibility for appearing in JEE (Main) – 2019

1) Age Limit for appearing in the JEE (Main) examination there is no age limit for the candidates. The candidates who have passed XII examination in 2017, 2018 or appearing in 2019 irrespective of their age can appear in JEE (Main) Examination – 2019. The candidates should satisfy themselves about the eligibility of age limit requirements of the Institutes in which he/she is desirous of taking admission.

2) Year of Appearance in Qualifying Examination (QE) Only those candidates who have passed their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2017 or 2018; or those who are appearing in their Class 12th Examination or any equivalent qualifying examination in 2019 are eligible to appear in both January 2019 and April, 2019 JEE (Main)-2019 Examination. Candidates who passed Class 12th/Qualifying examination in 2016 or before as well as those who will appear in such examination in 2020 or later are not eligible to appear in JEE (Main)– 2019.

3) The number of subjects in the Qualifying Examination (QE) Candidates must have taken at least five subjects in class 12th/qualifying examination in order to be eligible for writing JEE (Main)-2019. The candidates who have taken four subjects are not permitted to write JEE (Main)-2019 and if such candidates appear in JEE (Main)-2019 by furnishing wrong information, their rank/result will not be declared.

 

Seat Allocation Process and Admission Procedure

 Candidates shall be offered admission based on their choices and All India Ranks of JEE (Main)- 2019 through a Seat Allocation Process to be announced later. The candidates will be able to make their choices online for branches/programs and institutes at the appropriate time.

 Candidates are advised to regularly visit the JEE (Main) website: www.jeemain.nic.in for the latest information.

The verification of documents would be done at the time of Seat Allocation Process/admission. The purpose would be to verify different records regarding identification, age, qualifying examination, state of eligibility, category and disability (if any) of the candidate. On failing to produce any of the authentic documents, the candidate will not be considered for admission.

 SC, ST, OBC, and PwD candidates will be required to produce an original certificate as per prescribed formats are given in Appendix – 7, issued by the competent authority at the time of Seat Allocation Process as well as at the time of admission, failing which they will not be considered for admission.

Eligibility Criteria:

Aspiring candidates willing to apply for JEE Main 2019 are requested to read the information booklet carefully and ensure their eligibility as per the prescribed criteria laid down for JEE (Main).

Educational Criteria:

  1. Qualifying examination: Candidates should have passed the 12th examination or its equivalent examination with at least five subjects i.e. Physics, Language, Mathematics as mandatory subjects and anyone from the Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Technical Vocational Subject and any other subject in order to be eligible for JEE Main 2019.
  2. Year of passing qualifying examination: Candidates who have passed qualifying examination i.e. 12th in 2017 and 2018; or candidates who are appearing the qualifying examination in 2019 are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2019.
  3. Diploma holders are permitted to get admission into IITs only. They have to appear in JEE Advanced.
  4. Admission to IITs, NITs, CFTIs will be strictly based on All India Rank subject to the condition that applicant must have obtained at least 75% (65% in case of SC/ST) marks in the 12th examination or be in top twenty percentile in the 12th examination organized by the respective boards.
  5. Candidates who have either passed or appearing class 12th from NIOS should select the state of Eligibility according to the state where the study center is situated.

National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) is being conducted by COA since 2006. It is implied that a separate aptitude test in Architecture should be conducted and such a test should not be combined with the tests for admissions to Engineering, Pharmacy, Medicine and other disciplines. The purpose of conducting NATA is to provide a single scheme of examination for holding aptitude test and to facilitate prospective students all over the country to apply for admissions in architecture seats in institutions spread across the country and to avoid appearing in multiple aptitude tests.

COA has decided to conduct NATA-2019 for admission to B.Arch. in the academic session 2019-20, as a one-day online examination all over the country, which will comprise of two parts: Part A comprises of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) to be answered online and Part B is paper-based drawing.

The JEE (Main)-2019 will be conducted twice before admissions in the next academic session. The students will have following benefits of the new pattern:

  1. This will give one more opportunity to the students to improve their scores in the examination if they fail to give their best in the first attempt without wasting their whole academic year.
  2.  In the first attempt, the students will get a first-hand experience of taking an examination and to know their mistakes which they can improve while attempting for the second time.
  3. This will reduce the chances of dropping a year and droppers would not have to waste a full year.
  4. If anyone missed the examination due to reasons beyond control, then he/she won’t have to wait for one full year.
  5. The student’s best of the two NTA scores will be considered for preparation of Merit List/ Ranking.

Procedure for filling Online Application Form :

1) Download Information Bulletin and Replica of Application Form. Read these carefully to ensure your eligibility.

2) Follow the 4 steps given below to Apply Online:

 Step-1: Fill in the Online Application Form and note down the system generated Application No.

        Step-2: Upload scanned images of Candidate’s Photograph (between 10 kb - 200 kb) and Candidate’s Signature (between 4 kb - 30kb) in JPG/JPEG format.

        Step-3: Make payment of fee using suitable mode of payment through the bank as per details are given in Chapter – 4, (mode of submission of Application Form and payment of fee) and keep proof of fee paid.

        Step-4: Print at least four printouts of Confirmation Page after successful remittance of fee.

All the 4 Steps can be done together or at separate times.

Note:

1. The final submission of Online Application Form will remain incomplete if Step-2 and Step-3 are not completed. Such forms will stand rejected and no correspondence on this account will be entertained.

2. No request for refund of fee once remitted by the candidate will be entertained by NTA under any circumstances.

3. The entire application process of NEET (UG), May 2019 is online, including uploading of scanned images, Payment of Fees, and Printing of Confirmation Page. Therefore, candidates are not required to send/submit any document(s) including Confirmation Page to NTA through Post/ Fax/By Hand.

4. Option of medium of paper should be exercised while filling the Application Form and the option once exercised by candidates cannot be changed later.

5. Candidates are advised to visit the NTA website regularly for latest updates.

Method of Fee Payment

a) Payment using appropriate mode:

After completing Step 2 of online Application Form, candidates may remit the examination fee (Step 3) by choosing the following options:

1. Online Mode i.e. Debit/Credit card and Net Banking:

Check the validity of the Debit/Credit Card and keep it ready with you while logging on to website for submitting Application Form. Candidate should enter the information asked for and make payment through Debit/Credit Card.

Through Net Banking, check the balance in your account and keep all credentials ready with you while logging on to website for submitting Application Form. Candidate should Login with his/her credentials of net banking and make payment through Net Banking.

2. Cash Deposit through e-challan:

 After completing Step 2 of online Application Form, candidate will be prompted to generate e-slip. Print e-slip on A4 size paper-Landscape format from NEET (UG) – 2019 website www.ntaneet.nic.in and follow instructions given on e-slip and make payment through e-challan.

b) Print the Confirmation Page (Step-4) of online application after completion of Step-3 i.e. payment through Debit/Credit card/ Net Banking/Cash Deposit through e-challan.

c) If candidate fails to complete all the steps upto step 4, the final Submission of Online Application will remain incomplete and unsuccessful.

d) Generation of Confirmation Page confirms final submission of Application Form. If Confirmation Page has not been generated, this means that Application Form has not been submitted successfully.           

General Instructions

  • National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test NEET (UG) - 2019 will be conducted as per regulations of the Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948, and as amended from time to time.
  • Merely appearing and qualifying in NEET (UG) - 2019 does not confer any right to the candidate for admission to MBBS/BDS Courses. The selection and admission to MBBS/BDS seats in any Medical Institution recognized for offering MBBS/BDS Courses is subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in merit list, medical fitness and such other criteria as may be prescribed by the Government of India, respective States, Universities, Institutions and Medical/Dental Colleges.
  • Applications of candidates submitting false and fabricated information will not be considered and such candidates will be further debarred from appearing in examinations conducted by the NTA.
  • Incomplete application and applications not in accordance with instructions will not be considered and are liable to be rejected without any further intimation. The cases.
  • Fee will neither be carried forward to a future examination nor refunded. Submission of online application and remittance of fee would close as per the schedule given and no request for extension of time shall be entertained. Applications once submitted cannot be withdrawn. Candidates must note that mere deduction of fee from the bank account is not a proof of fee payment. The payment should be supported by fee updation and generation of Confirmation Page.
  • Instructions in the Information Bulletin may change based on decisions taken by the NTA and other authorities from time to time. Candidates are advised to regularly check the website www.ntaneet.nic.in for any further updates or information.
  • NTA reserves the right to withdraw permission, if any, granted inadvertently to any candidate who is not eligible to appear in the NEET (UG) - 2019 even though the Roll Number and Admit Card has been issued by the NTA.
  • Candidate’s eligibility for NEET (UG) - 2019 is purely provisional and is subject to fulfilment of eligibility criteria as prescribed by the MoH&FW/MCI/DCI/NTA /MCC/ other admitting Institution as applicable.
  • In case of any ambiguity in interpretation of any of the instructions/ terms/ rules/criteria regarding determination of eligibility/conduct of examination/ registration of candidates/information contained therein, the interpretation of the NTA shall be final and binding.
  • The conduct of NEET (UG) - 2019 Examination would be video graphed. The candidates are required to keep their head in upright position and face the camera during the videography so that their identity could be clearly established.

 (d) Candidates qualifying NEET (UG) – 2019 would be eligible for All India Quota and other quotas under the State Governments/Institutes, irrespective of the medium of the examination, subject to other eligibility criteria.

 

Syllabus for the Test

The Question Papers for the test shall be based on a Common Syllabus notified by the Medical Council of India and implemented in the year 2013. It is also available at www.mciindia.org.

Eligibility to appear in NEET (UG) - 2019

Eligibility for appearing in NEET (UG) is as stipulated in Indian Medical Council Act-1956 and the Dentists Act-1948 as amended in 2018.

  • Eligibility as per related Regulations is as follows:-
  1.  He/she has completed age of 17 years at the time of admission or will complete that age on or before 31st December of the year of his/her admission to the 1st year MBBS/BDS Course.
  2. The upper age limit for NEET (UG) is 25 years as on the date of examination with relaxation of 5 years for the candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC category and persons entitled for reservation under the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016.

  1.  Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons with Indian Origin (PIO) and Foreign Nationals are eligible for admission in Medical/Dental Colleges subject to rules and regulations framed by the respective State Governments, Institutions and the Government of India as the case may be.
  2. Foreign nationals may confirm their eligibility from the concerned Medical/Dental College/State.
  • Eligibility for 15% All India Quota seats
  1.  Indian Nationals, Non Resident Indians (NRIs), Overseas Citizen of India (OCI), Persons of Indian Origin (PIO) and Foreign Nationals are eligible for 15% All India Quota Seats.
  2. Candidates from State of J & K
  1. Students from State of J & K are not eligible for 15% All India Quota seats as State of J&K has opted out of All India Scheme since its inception. If they claim eligibility, they must submit online Self Declaration which will be generated and printed automatically along with confirmation page for the record and to present the same during counselling.
  2. The online Self Declaration of the candidates will be verified at the time of counselling and if found to be false at any time, the candidature/admission of such candidates shall be cancelled and criminal proceedings may be initiated against such candidates.
  3. Candidates from the State of J & K can appear in NEET (UG) for admission to Private Medical/Dental Colleges or any Private/Deemed University and Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC), Pune subject to the fulfilment of eligibility conditions.

Admission and Reservation

An All India Merit List of the qualified candidates shall be prepared on the basis of All India Rank in the Merit List of the NEET (UG) - 2019 and candidates shall be admitted to MBBS/BDS Courses from the said list only by following the already existing reservation policy. NTA will provide All India Rank. Admitting Authorities will invite applications for counselling and merit list shall be drawn based on All India Rank by the Admitting Authorities. Admission to MBBS/BDS Courses within the respective categories shall be based solely on All India Rank as per merit list of NEET (UG) - 2019.

The admitting/counselling authorities will draw merit list of the candidates in the respective categories, declared by the candidates at the time of applying for admission/counselling.

(a) Reservation of seats in government medical colleges under 15% All

India Quota:

  1. 15% seats are reserved for SC candidates,
  2. 7.5% seats are reserved for ST candidates,
  3. 27% seats in Central Educational Institutions are reserved for OBC candidates only as per Central Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admissions) Act, 2006. Reservation would be applicable to the castes mentioned in the Central list of OBC. Thus, the candidates falling in this list may mention OBC in the Category Column in application form. Candidates from creamy layer and those who do not come under Central List of OBC are advised to mention their category as Unreserved (UR).
  4. Candidates under PwD category as per MCI guidelines: 5% seats of the annual sanctioned intake shall be filled by candidates falling under Persons with Bench Mark disabilities as per MCI Guidelines/ Regulations in accordance with the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016. If the seats reserved for the persons with disabilities in a particular category remain unfilled on account of unavailability of candidates, the seats would be included in the Annual Sanctioned Seats for the respective category. Candidates are required to consult the website of MCC (www.mcc.nic.in) and MoHFW (www.mohfw.nic.in) for latest information in this regard. Candidates who consider themselves eligible for this category are advised to ensure their eligibility by getting themselves examined at any Government Medical College/District Hospital/Government Hospital. Reservation will be made as per 2200 point reservation roster. The mode of implementation of reservation will be available on DGHS

     website- www.mohfw.gov.in and on MCC website www.mcc.nic.in

(b) Admission in State Medical Colleges/Universities/Institutions/private medical colleges for seats other than 15% All India Quota:

  1. Admission under State Quota Seats shall be subject to reservation policy and eligibility criteria prevailing in the State/Union Territory as notified by the respective State/Union Territory from time to time.
  2. The reservation of the seats in medical colleges for respective categories shall be as per applicable laws prevailing in State/Union Territory concerned.
  3. Admission to MBBS/BDS Courses in Private Medical Colleges shall be subject to policies of the Government of India/State/Union Territory.

(c) Admission to Deemed Universities/Central Universities/Seats of ESIC and AFMC including BHU & AMU

  1.  Admission to Deemed Universities/Central Universities/ESIC including DELHI UNIVERSITY (DU), BHU & AMU will be conducted by DGHS and reservation policy will be as per rules and regulations of the concerned University or Institution. Candidates should register on MCC website for admission to Deemed / Central University/ ESIC and AFMC.
  2. Admission to AFMC, Pune shall be subject to the norms prescribed by the Directorate General of Armed Forces Medical Services, Ministry of Defence and Government of India. Candidates who apply for NEET (UG) - 2019 and/or for seeking admission in AFMC will also have to apply to AFMC on www.afmc.nic.in/www.afmcdg1d.gov.in. The short listed candidates will be required to appear for a second stage Screening Test conducted by AFMC. Candidates are advised to contact AFMC for further and exact details. The counselling will be conducted by DGHS.

 

 

 

 

 

MH CET 2019 (State Level Examination)

The government of Maharashtra conducts MH CET 2019 Entrance exam for the admission of the academic year 2019-20 for first-year engineering/Pharmacy and agricultural science Admissions.  From 2019 MH CET exam will be conducted in online mode and there will be no negative marking. Also, the difficulty level will be at par JEE Main and NEET. The competent authority of this examination is commissioner, state CET cell Maharashtra, Mumbai. The period of this online exam has to be 16 to 20 days. The online examination will be commenced on 2nd and 3rd week of May 2019.

Online-Computer based (CBT)-MHTCET-2019-2020 Syllabus and pattern has been revised as per letter of the director of technical education dated 6th nov.2018.

 Syllabus and Pattern of MH CET 2019

  1. The Questions will be based on the syllabus of Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education.
  2. Approximately 20% weightage will be given to Std. XI curriculum and 80% weightage will be given to Std...XII curriculum while setting the question paper.
  3. There will be no Negative Marking, however, the difficulty level will be at par with the JEE (Main) for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and difficulty level for Biology will be at par with NEET. The questions will be mainly application based.
  4. MHT-CET will consist of 3 question papers of Multiple Choice Questions (MCQ) and each paper will be of 100 marks. Details are as given below

(A) First Year. –

(1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate. –

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero scores in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. Or

(ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) ;

(2) All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu, and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates. –

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and should obtain non zero positive score in JEE Main Paper I or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero scores in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining a non-zero positive score in JEE (Main) Paper I over the candidates who obtained non zero scores in CET. Or

 (ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) ;

(3) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National. –

 (i) The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50 % marks in the above subjects taken together;

(ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

(B) Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) Admission, -

For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate, -

  1. The Candidate should be an Indian National;
  2. Passed Diploma Course in Engineering and Technology with at least 45% marks (40% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in appropriate branch of Engineering and Technology from an All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent; Or
  3. Passed B.Sc. Degree from a University Grants Commission (UGC) or Association of Indian Universities recognized University with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed HSC with Mathematics as a subject : Provided that students belonging to this category shall clear the subjects of Engineering Graphics/ Engineering Drawing and Engineering Mechanics of the first year Engineering Program along with second-year subjects.
  4.  Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act. 2 Undergraduate Course in Pharmacy (Bachelor of Pharmacy B. Pharm.)

(A) First Year –

 (1) Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates –

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;

(iii) Should have appeared in all the subjects and should obtain non zero scores in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.

(2) All India Candidature Candidates –

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together;

(iii) Should obtain non zero positive scores in NEET or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in CET and should obtain non zero scores in CET conducted by the Competent Authority. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive scores in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero scores in CET.

(3) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National –

(i) The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biology, and obtained at least 50 % marks in the above subjects taken together;

 (ii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

(B) Direct Second Year (Lateral Entry) Admission, For Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate and All India Candidature Candidate –

 (i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

 (ii) Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy with at least 45 % marks (at least 40 % marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from an All India Council for Technical Education or Pharmacy Council of India or Central or State Government approved Institution or its equivalent ;

(iii) Any other criterion declared from time to time by the appropriate authority as defined under the Act.

Procedure for MHT-CET 2019 Registration:

In order to register online, the candidate has to visit the website http://www.dtemaharashtra.gov.in/ and click ”Apply Online”; The MHT-CET 2019 Registration page opens up wherein he/she has to fill in the online form. The information to be provided includes personal details and uploading of your recent color passport photograph and signature.

Filling of Online Application form:

The candidate will be prompted to enter valid personal email id, personal mobile No. and a password along with other required information while filling the online form. Remember the password set. Use this password during the application form filling. An email and SMS will be sent to this registered email id and mobile no. Please quote your Application no. in all future correspondence with MHT- CET Office.

To Upload Photograph and Signature

 Please note that all the applicants are required to upload their recent scanned/digital color photograph and signature. The file size of the Photograph should be between 15 KB to 50 KB and Signature should be between 5KB to 20 KB per file. The online application system will not allow uploading files smaller or larger than the specified size. All Candidates have to upload their Photograph and Signature in ".jpg" format only and file name of Photograph and signature should preferably be photo.jpg and sign.jpg respectively.

· Take your recent color passport size photograph. The picture should be taken against a light/white background. In case the face on the photograph is not clear, your application is liable to be rejected. Candidate should upload such scanned/digital recent color photograph.

·File size of the Photograph should be between 15 KB to 50 KB, otherwise, it will not be allowed by the System to upload.

· To reduce the size, crop the image of the passport size photograph in MS Paint or any other Photo Editor.

· Please ensure that only the full face portion is cropped and not the entire photograph.

For Uploading Signature

· The candidate himself/herself should sign (no capital letters) on a white paper with a black ink pen.

· Scan the signature in 200 dpi (dots per inch) scanner resolution settings and the file size should be between 5 KB to 20 KB in .jpg format.

· To reduce the size, crop the image of the signature in MS Paint or any other Photo Editor. Please ensure that only the signature portion is cropped and not the entire A4 paper on which you have signed. Once photograph and signature files are uploaded by the candidate successfully, the system will show on the screen Photograph and Signature that has been uploaded. If these have been correctly uploaded, you should now proceed further to make the online payment. To ensure the Photograph and Signature are within specified file size follow the following instructions

· Open the digital or scanned photograph or signature in MS Paint by right-clicking the photograph or signature.

· Press Ctrl + W, a window will open which will have an option 'resize by %'. Here enter anything between 10 to 50% and save the file with an extension .jpg.

· Check for the size of the file in 'properties'. If the file size is still not between 15 KB to 50 KB for Photograph and 5 KB to 20 KB, once again open in paint and resize it to bring it to within specified range.

· Repeat this process till the file size is between the specified range. Save this file with the file Name as mentioned above as photo.jpg and sign.jpg

The applications will be invited from qualified applicants of JEE Main 2019 for JEE Advanced 2019. The application process will be commenced from the 4th week of April till 1st week of May 2019. The applicants need to apply on or before the last date of application.

  • The applicants have to apply only through online mode for JEE Advanced 2019. No other mode of application will be allowed.
  • The applicants can apply for the examination from this website jeeadv.nic.in.
  • The applicants need to enter all the required details in the application form.
  • They also have to upload the scanned images of their photograph & signature.
  • To complete the application process, the applicants also have to pay the application fee.
  • The applicants are advised to cross-check the entered details before submitting their forms.

Application Fee

Eligibility Criteria for JEE Advanced 2019

The eligibility criteria is an important factor to read on before applying for an examination. The applicants should go through the eligibility criteria before filling up the form for JEE Advanced. Check out the eligibility criteria mentioned below-

Answer Key

Cut Off Mark

The cut off marks are decided by the examination authority. These are the minimum qualifying marks needed to through with the examination. The applicants who score the cut off marks will only be eligible for the next stage of admission.

Counseling

The counseling process will be held through online mode. The successful applicants have to register themselves for counseling. The counseling procedure will commence from the 4th week of June 2019. ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA:

Aspiring candidates willing to apply for JEE Main 2019 are requested to read the information booklet carefully and ensure their eligibility as per the prescribed criteria laid down for JEE (Main).

Educational Criteria:

  1. Qualifying examination: Candidates should have passed the 12th examination or its equivalent examination with at least five subjects i.e. Physics, Language, Mathematics as mandatory subjects and anyone from the Biotechnology, Biology, Chemistry, Technical Vocational Subject and any other subject in order to be eligible for JEE Main 2019.
  2. Year of passing qualifying examination: Candidates who have passed qualifying examination i.e. 12th in 2017 and 2018; or candidates who are appearing the qualifying examination in 2019 are eligible to apply for JEE Main 2019.
  3. Diploma holders are permitted to get admission into IITs only. They have to appear in JEE Advanced.
  4. Admission to IITs, NITs, CFTIs will be strictly based on All India Rank subject to the condition that applicant must have obtained at least 75% (65% in case of SC/ST) marks in the 12th examination or be in top twenty percentile in the 12th examination organized by the respective boards.
  5. Candidates who have either passed or appearing class 12th from NIOS should select the state of Eligibility according to the state where the study center is situated.

JEE Main Application Form 2019-Procedure:

The Application Form of JEE Main 2019 will be filled online via the official website of JEE Main. The link at which the application form will be filled has been posted below. Candidates shall be required to fill the application form online and pay the exam fee. It is advised that the candidates submit the JEE Main Application Form before the last date which is 30th September 2018. The complete procedure for filling the application form has been explained below.

STEP 1: Filling the Application Form

  • Candidates must first open the application form which will be available at the link i.e. www.jeemain.nic.in
  • Afterward, the candidates must look for a link named APPLY ONLINE and must click on the same to open the application form for filling.
  • Candidates must fill the Application Form of JEE Main with all the valid details as asked such as the personal information and the educational qualifications of the candidate.
  • After filling in all the details, the candidates will be required to choose a password. Also, an application number will be generated for each candidate. Candidates must note down this application number and the password which would later be required to log in to the website.
  • Now, the candidates must log in to the website using the application number and password allotted to them at the time of filling the Online Application Form for the exam.

STEP 2: Uploading Scanned Images

  • After logging in, the candidates must upload the scanned documents such as signatures, thumb impression, and photograph in the jpeg/jpg format. The details regarding the documents are as follows:

Thumb Impression: The file size must lie between 1 kb-30 kb. Image dimensions should be 3.5×1.5 cm.

Photograph:

  • The file size must lie between 4 kb-40 kb. Image dimensions should be 3.5×4.5 cm.
  • The date of taking the photograph and name of the applicant must be printed on it
  • The photograph should be without goggles or cap
  • The photograph must be colored or black and white with clear contrast
  • Polaroid photographs will not be accepted

Signature:

  • The file size must lie between 1 kb-30 kb. Image dimensions should be 3.5×1.5 cm.
  • The signature must be done by the applicant only
  • It should be clearly visible.

Eligibility:-

(1) For Maharashtra Candidature Candidates, All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu, and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed minimum three-year duration Bachelors  Degree awarded by University recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of Indian Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent (at least 45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only);

(iii) Studied Mathematics as one of the subjects at (10+2) level or at Graduate level examination;

(iv) For Direct second year admissions, the candidate should have passed Bachelor Degree in Computer Applications or Science (Information Technology or Computer Science);

(v)  The obtained score in CET.

(2) NRI / OCI/ PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National

(i) Passed minimum three-year duration Bachelors Degree awarded by University recognized by University Grants Commission or Association of India Universities in any discipline with at least 50% marks in aggregate or equivalent;(ii) Studied Ma

Eligibility:

Eligibility for First Year Engineering Admissions

1.Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate. 

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together; and Obtained score in MHT-CET 2018

(iii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only); 

(iv) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by UGC. and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class  categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject;

(2) All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu, and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates.

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical or Vocational subjects and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and Obtained score in JEE (Main) Paper I or MHT-CET 2018.

(iii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 50 % marks (at least 45 % marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);

(iv) Passed B.Sc. Degree from a Recognized University as defined by University Grants Commission and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks, in  case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) and passed XII standard with Mathematics as a subject;

Eligibility for First Year Pharmacy Admissions

State Candidature Candidates and All India Candidature Candidates.

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National;

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together;

(iii) Obtained Score in MHT-CET 2018.
 

First Year- Pharm D.

State Candidature and All India Candidature Candidates

(i) The candidate should be an Indian National; 

(ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with subjects Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics or Biotechnology or Biology and obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State) in the above subjects taken together; 

(ii) Passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having approval of competent central authority and State Government and  obtained at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging only to Maharashtra State);

(iii) The candidate should have obtained at least 50% marks in the MHT-CET 2018.

(ii) Passed Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology or its equivalent, with at least 50% marks (at least 45% marks in case of candidates of Backward class categories and persons with disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) ;

(iv) For sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of full-time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.

(2) NRI / OCI/ PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National

(i) Passed Bachelor Degree in Hotel Management and Catering Technology from All India Council for Technical Education or Central or State Government approved institutions or its equivalent, with at least 50 % marks;

(ii) Any other criterion declared by appropriate authority from time to time
